The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is partnering
with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for
, an initiative that allows eligible passengers to qualify
for expedited screening at participating airports.
U.S. citizens, who are members of a CBP Trusted Traveler
program, including Global Entry, SENTRI, and NEXUS are automatically eligible to
participate and receive expedited screening benefits for domestic travel through
the
initiative.
benefits include keeping shoes, light outerwear and belts
on, keeping laptops in their cases, and leaving the 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels
bag in one’s carry-on during screening through TSA security checkpoints.
Members interested in participating in
through their Trusted Traveler program membership must enter
their PASS ID into the ‘Known Traveler’ field when booking a flight reservation
or saving their PASS ID to their airline’s frequent flyer profile. Members can
find their PASS ID either online by accessing their GOES account, or on the back
of their membership card in the top-left corner.
When traveling on one of the
participating airlines, CBP Trusted Traveler members should
remember to provide the airline with their full name, date of birth, and PASS ID
exactly as it appears in their CBP Trusted Traveler program online account to

Reminder:
New PAssport Process From Jan. 1st, 2012
As a consequence, from January 1, 2012 it will only be possible to apply for a Danish passport in the United States, by personal appearance, at these locations:
The Danish Consulate General in New York: www.denmark.org
The Danish Consulate General in Chicago: www.gkchicago.um.dk
Innovation Center Denmark, Silicon Valley, CA: www.siliconvalley.um.dk
The Danish honorary consulates in the United States will not be able to accept passport applications after January 1, 2012.
What can be handled by the consulates from January 1, 2012?
After January 1, 2012 the embassy and the honorary consulates can still extend the validity of passports and issue emergency passports.
Please note that it is not possible to travel without a visa to the USA on an extended passport.
Can I get a new passport during my holiday in Denmark?
Yes. It is already possible – and cheaper – to get a passport with a municipality (kommune) in Denmark. All Danish citizens can apply for a passport at the Civil Service Center (Borgerservicecenter) in any municipality. It is not necessary for you to reside in or in other way be attached to the municipality. You can find addresses of Civil Service Centres at www.kommune.dk. You may wish to call beforehand for information on opening hours, booking of appointment etc. and inform them that you reside abroad.
Can my child be included in my passport?
No. Since October 1, 2004 children, also newly borns and children without names, must have their own passport. A consulate may issue a temporary (emergency) passport if necessary. See above on emergency passports.
